How are credits consumed?
Small files (1-100 transactions) use 1 credit per transaction — perfect for your free 100 credits. Larger files use package-based consumption: 101-500 uses 500 credits, 501-2,000 uses 2,000 credits, 2,001-5,000 uses 5,000 credits, and 5,001-15,000 uses 15,000 credits.
What is custom chart of accounts?
Paid users can define their own chart of accounts. When you process transactions, AI will assign each transaction to both a category AND the closest matching account from your custom list — perfect for importing directly into QuickBooks, Xero, or any accounting software.
Why buy bulk instead of packages?
Bulk is $0.004/credit. Packages range from $0.01/credit (Starter) to $0.005/credit (Enterprise). Bulk saves 20-60% if you process multiple files regularly.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits in your account never expire. Buy once, use anytime.
Is my data deleted after processing?
Yes. Transaction data is processed in-memory and automatically deleted after you download or after 4 hours. We only store your credit balance and processing history metadata (file name, transaction count, date).
What banks are supported?
TraceEntry works with CSV and Excel exports from any bank. We support Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citi, Capital One, US Bank, PNC, and all other banks that offer transaction downloads.
